WILDFLOWERS OF LOUISIANA (Wildlife of North America and other educational books.)

Come take a look at some of the incredible wildflowers found in Louisiana. If you enjoy the outdoors, wildlife, plants, or the incredible wonders of nature, then this book is for you. Many of these wildflowers you have seen before, but others will be new. Some may currently be in your backyard, some you see driving down the road, and others in parks. No matter where you enjoy the great outdoors, wildflowers are everywhere. This book is not just filled with full color pictures, it also has a detailed description of each species, and much more. The size, bloom time, habitat, soil needs, sun exposure, and additional comments are made on all plants. This is also a great book that teaches you botany terms, if you want to learn them. Botany can be very confusing and frustrating when you have nothing but technical terms. This is enough to drive away most wildflower enthusiasts. This book is written in easy to understand English, with scientific botany terms in parenthesis along the way. This way, if you skip the terms in parenthesis, anyone can understand what they are reading. If you want, you can look at the scientific words in parenthesis, and learn them along the way at your own pace. As a teacher, I made this book so that anyone can understand it, but you can learn the terms of botany along the way, if you wish. Read more
